ForFarmers nominates Mr. Cees de Jong as member to its Supervisory Board

ForFarmers announces that the Supervisory Board has resolved to nominate Mr. Cees de Jong as member of the Supervisory Board. This nomination will be submitted to the Annual General Meeting of shareholders of 26 April 2017. Mr. Henk Mulder will stand down on 26 April 2017 in line with the retirement schedule.

Cees de Jong (1961) is currently President and CEO of the globally operating Danish stock listed bioscience company Chr. Hansen that develops sustainable solutions for the food, nutritional, pharmaceutical and agricultural industries.

Before he was appointed to CEO of Chr. Hansen in 2013, Cees de Jong held various management and board positions in the biopharmaceutical and food industries. His professional career started in 1989 after he had obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and his Medical Doctorate degree from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. The first company he joined was Gist-Brocades (the Netherlands). When this company was acquired by DSM in 1998, Cees de Jong stayed on and was appointed to President of the Business Group Anti-Infectives. In 2000, he moved to Campina to manage the Industrial Products division, and from 2003 to 2007, Cees de Jong worked for Quest International as President of the Flavour division and member of the Board. Subsequently, he became Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of the biotech company Crucell, which was taken over by Johnson & Johnson in 2011.
