ForFarmers N.V. (hereinafter ‘ForFarmers’) has repurchased 368,060 shares in the period from 8 May 2017 through 12 May 2017.
The shares were repurchased for an average price of € 8.81 per share, for a total amount of
€ 3,242,758. These repurchases were made in accordance with the authorisation granted by the ForFarmers N.V. Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 26 April 2017 as part of the share buy-back programme announced on 2 May 2017.
The total number of shares that has been repurchased to date according to this programme is 595,060 shares, for a total amount of € 5,214,470.
The share buy-back programme of ForFarmers comprises two parts: (a) in order to make its balance sheet more efficient ForFarmers will repurchase its own shares for a period of 18 months for an amount between € 40 million and € 60 million and (b) for the implementation of employee participation plans in 2017 (for comparison purposes: the 2016 employee participation plan involved 483,000 shares). Part (b) of the buy-back plan, for which 345,000 shares are required, has been finalised as currently 595,060 own shares have been repurchased. In addition, 40,000 treasury shares will be allocated to the employee participation plans 2017.
