Phosphate pollution is an important issue for the agricultural sector. Phosphate in animal feed contributes to a higher production - and therefore higher efficiency - of animals. At the same time, the phosphate that animals excrete is a burden on the environment. That is why the EU has set phosphate production ceilings for all member states. We are actively helping livestock farmers with their challenge to achieve lower phosphate emissions through sharing knowledge, advice and supplying optimal feed.
See our Annual Report for more information about phosphate.
