Strategy 2030

ForFarmers'strategy 2030 builds on the principles of the updated strategy 2025. We are pleased with the steps taken so far and recognise that many market trends, such as sustainability and strong market volatility, remain relevant.

ForFarmers has the knowledge, expertise and resources to strengthen its position amid the changing market conditions. Its mission, For the Future of Farming, is the guiding principle through which the company is fully focused on a sustainable livestock farming industry, both ecologically and economically. To better respond to rapidly changing market conditions, ForFarmers has made priorities within the five strategic principles more explicit.

  • Close to the farmer: responding to local customer needs in order to gain market share is and remains essential. We will continue to work with our decentralised organisation and centralised support in order to be able to act quickly and effectively in local markets. As an example of a stronger market position, in the coming years we will focus on nationwide production coverage in Poland, the integration of ForFarmers and team agrar in Germany and on further strengthening of our ruminant position in the North of the UK.
  • Differentiate in products & markets: we want to expand our product and advisory portfolio in our markets in order to continue supporting profitability. This is necessary to be able to continue to invest in the future. On-farm data management is becoming increasingly important in this respect and we will continue to focus on this to optimally serve our more than 28,500 customers.
  • Good feed at competitive prices: we contribute to the farmer's profitability in a cost- and quality-conscious manner. We do this by continuing to focus on our procurement strategy and flexing our costs in the event of volume growth or decline.
  • Sustainable solutions: we support farmers and chain partners in line with our sustainability ambitions, for instance with alternative protein solutions (for example, microalgae research with Remediiate). We can also set up residual flow concepts even better with our CirQlar approach.
  • (Virtual) Chain Integration: we will continue to actively expand collaborations in the agrifood chain for a sustainable future of our company. Specific examples of this is the layers integration under our own management in Germany and the broiler approach with our joint venture partner KPS in Poland.
